More than a boutique hotel, each aspect of the Miami Beach EDITION’s elegantly designed and interlinked spaces and settings has been redesigned to provide today’s guests with all the comforts and amenities they expect from a modern luxury resort experience

One if our favorite brands, created by the famous Ian Schrager, Editions management is close to our hearts. In fact, EDGE travel may have been lightly inspired by this vision!

Matt Pargament, GM is still a close friend.

Located in Mid-Beach—the historical heart of America’s premier coastal resort city since the 1950s, The EDITION sits in the middle of it all. With Biscayne Bay on one side, the Atlantic on the other and Miami’s colorful and eccentric Art Deco District is nearby.

Spacious and elegant guest rooms feature light oak-paneled walls. Many include a private terrace, complete with teak chaise lounge, overlooking the beach.

The BASEMENT offers a continuum of entertainment environments that allows guests to focus on one or all throughout their visit for a taste of Miami Beach nightlife, including a nightclub, bowling alley and ice-skating rink. Basement Miami gives a cutting edge, 21st Century nod to Ian Schrager’s legendary Studio 54 with outstanding DJs, dance floor, sound and lighting systems.

Guests can retreat to The Sandbox, a secluded tropical nook just off the pool and beach equipped with hammocks and loungers, for a quiet nap, private party or barefoot cocktails.

The Matador Terrace and bar overlook the pool deck with a solid walnut floating bar at the center of the room, providing bespoke cocktails with exceptional service. Inspired by the Old World markets of Madrid and Barcelona, the Market at EDITION, is a modern gastro-bazaar with bistro-style street seating or take out. Tropicale offers casual alfresco dining with fresh and light menu selections and cocktails, while the Lobby Bar, reminiscent of 1950s Miami Beach, serves its house specialties—mojitos, champagne cocktails and its punch fountain—to a Latin beat.
